IC design industry makes up a proportion of more than 30% in domestic integrated circuits industry for the first time .
Recently , at the opening ceremony for Shenzhen( international) exhibition of integrated circuits , technology innovation and application development in year 2012 , Xuxiaotian , assistant director general for Chinese semi-conductor association , pointed out that the sales scale of IC design industry reached 47.374 billion yuan in year 2011 , representing a substantial increase of 30.2% and making up a portion of more than 30% in the domestic IC industry for the first time .
Growth rate of Chinese IC design industry is not only much higher than that of the overall growth rate of domestic IC industry , but also is higher than that of the global growth rate .
Shenzhen (international) exhibition for integrated circuit technology innovation and application development in year 2012 , hosted by Shenzhen municipal committee for science and technology , industry and trade and information , is held by Shenzhen base of national IC design industrialization , Shenzhen semi-conductor industry association and Shenzhen Siruida media Ltd .
Caijinjiang, secretary general of Shenzhen semi-conductor industry association pointed out ," In promoting technology innovation and product development , Chinese IC enterprises pay more and more attention to the popularization and application of research achievements and products . IC itself and its application should be innovation to meet the trend of market demand . Shenzhen ( international ) exhibition for integrated circuit technology innovation and application development is to build a platform so that the chip design companies can directly face to face with the upstream and downstream enterprises to grasp market trends and end-user demand , collecting important market information for future new product development through high level technical exchanges ."
Lujian, director of the innovation of science and technology commission in Shenzhen city , said ," In year 2011 , Shenzhen IC design industry achieved a sale of 12.6 billion Yuan , accounting for 26.6% of the national total and ranking the forefront of the domestic large and medium-sized city . The development history of Shenzhen IC design industry is not long . Shenzhen IC design industry is developing rapidly , an important reason of which is that Shenzhen has a unique advantage in IC design development . Shenzhen has become the distribution ,design and application center of domestic IC product and is striving to make itself become the center of the IC technical innovation in China ."
