Our province's first 8 inches chip production line is settled in Minhou

               Recently , Fujian province's first 8 inches IC (integrated circuit) chip production line project signed contract and settled in Fuzhou biological medicine and electrical industrial park in the south island of Minhou . After the project is put into operation , it will fill the gap in large scale integrated  circuit on the chain of our province's high tech industry .

              The project is jointly constructed by Fuzhou city government , Fujian Fushun microelectronic Co investment and development Group Co. ltd and Electronic information Group Co . Ltd . Its total investment amount is 3 billion Yuan , covering an area of 331 acres . The construction is divided into two phases . After it enters full production , it can produce 240,000 8 inches chips which range from 0.25 micro-meters to 0.35 micro-meters  . 8 inches integrated circuit chip is currently the mainstream product of IC chip whose market demand is strong .
